Day 1 – Transfer to Murchison Falls via Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary
Arrive in Uganda early for a smooth start to your journey. Your guide will pick you up from Entebbe Airport and set off for Murchison Falls National Park. En route, enjoy a stopover at Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an exciting rhino tracking experience. Pause for lunch in Masindi before proceeding to the park, where you can check in to your lodge and relax for the evening.
Day 2 – Wildlife Game Drive and Boat Safari
Enjoy an early morning game drive across Uganda’s largest National Park, spotting lions, giraffes, hartebeests, buffalo, and elephants. Return to the lodge for lunch before embarking on a thrilling boat safari to the base of Murchison Falls, where you will see hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species. Optionally, hike to the top of the falls for breathtaking views before returning to your lodge.
Day 3 – Chimp Trekking in Budongo Forest
After breakfast, set off for Budongo Forest, a biodiverse area home to 24 mammal species, 360 birds, and around 800 chimpanzees. Enjoy a chimpanzee trekking experience and keep an eye out for other primates and bird species. Return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation or take an optional nature walk to experience the forest’s tranquility.
Day 4 – Return to Kampala for an Overnight Stay
After breakfast, depart Budongo and drive back to Kampala. On arrival, check into your accommodation and relax, preparing for the next leg of your adventure.
Day 5 – Transfer to Bwindi for Gorilla Trekking
Leave Kampala early for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to over 300 mountain gorillas. Enjoy scenic views of Uganda’s landscape, passing through the Equator and Mbarara before arriving in Bwindi in the evening. Check into your accommodation and rest in preparation for your trekking adventure.
Day 6 – Gorilla Trekking and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
After an early breakfast, receive a briefing from your ranger guide and begin the unforgettable experience of tracking mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. Spend an hour observing these incredible primates before returning for lunch. Later, transfer to the serene Lake Bunyonyi for relaxation and sightseeing.
Day 7 – Return to Entebbe for Departure
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast with picturesque views of Lake Bunyonyi before setting off on your return journey to Entebbe. Stop in Mbarara for lunch and at the Equator for memorable photos and souvenir shopping. Arrive in Entebbe in the afternoon or evening for your outbound flight.
